Remote Data Aquisition Setup

MDH provides services for remote monitoring of the stability and safety of mining infrastructure and waste, and civil, hydrogeological and environmental engineering projects. Monitoring includes the stability of earthen or rock embankments, dams, tailings and waste rock piles, open pit mining excavations, pipelines, etc. Remote data acquisition can be used to monitor virtually any electronically available signal. MDH has expertise in the use and monitoring of numerous geotechnical instruments including vibrating wire piezometers, thermistors, tiltmeters, strain gages, load cells, settlement sensors, pressure cells, in-place inclinometers, weather stations, and many other insitu geotechnical and environmental monitoring systems. MDH can install and provide real-time monitoring systems for virtually any type of instrumentation. Real-time data acquisition is even possible at remote locations through the use of satellite acquisition methods.
