MDH Engineered Solutions develops innovative solutions to complex geo-environmental mining problems. Our professional staff of engineers and geoscientists specialize in hydrogeology, geotechnical services, waste containment system design, mine waste characterization and computer modeling of groundwater, contaminant transport, consolidation, slope stability and geochemistry.
MDH’s mining clients include oil sands, potash, uranium, coal, clay minerals, base metals, and precious metals producers. We are experts in soil containment technologies, numerical modelling, site assessment, and tailings and waste investigations.
Our laboratory provides and develops specialized testing programs to meet the unique needs of the mining industry. We have extensive experience testing large diameter and coarse grained materials, sulphur wastes, uranium tailings and potash tailings. Our laboratory is equipped and licensed to handle radioactive samples.
