MDH Engineered Solutions offers a wide range of hydrology consulting services with varying scope depending upon the requirements of our clients. The hydrology services offered compliment other aspects of our business such as groundwater resource services (hydrogeological studies), site investigations, and surface water quality studies. We provide services to mining, government, industrial, and public sectors. These services range from local to regional in scale and consist of all aspects of hydrological investigations including occurrence, distribution, movement, and properties of waters, data acquisition, interpretation and analysis. We have particular expertise in evaluation of fluid storage requirements for mine sites, and failure/inundation studies for dyke and dam audits. Evaluation of storage requirements and water distribution is often based upon maximum probable precipitation events for particular areas. MDH also provides CAD services for contouring and mapping, and instrumentation services for long-term evaluation of climatic data.
