LaboratoryHydraulic Conductivity

Our laboratory uses large diameter triaxial permeameters to measure hydraulic conductivity and volume change. These permeameters are capable of testing under low hydraulic gradients (<10) and low confining pressures (<15 kPa), and can be used to measure the impacts of changing permeants.

MDH Laboratory Services performs standard falling head and constant head hydraulic conductivity tests. Large-scale hydraulic conductivity tests are routinely performed on waste rock for clients from the mining sector. Furthermore, our large diameter horizontal triaxial permeameters are used to measure density dependant fluid flow.
