Job Description: The successful candidate will play a managerial role in a wide variety of physical and contaminant hydrogeology projects including mine dewatering projects, tailings pond assessments, injection and well testing, aquifer evaluation, stratigraphic interpretation, environmental impact assessments (for the resource industry), water supply work and groundwater modelling. As well, the candidate will be involved in contaminant project work, including investigation, characterization and remediation of contaminated sites, regulatory liaison, and groundwater flow and contaminant transport modelling. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and conducting field investigations and for working with various departments in the Saskatoon Office as well as our western Canadian offices.
Job Requirements:
  • Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Geological Engineering, Hydrogeology or other related discipline.
  • Must be eligible to register as Professional Engineer or Geoscientist with APEGS.
Desirable Skills:
  • 5 or more years relevant industry or consulting experience.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment at a senior project management level.
  • Solid organization and time management abilities.
  • Good interpersonal skills combined with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
