The successful candidate will be responsible for providing senior technical direction and project management on a wide variety of projects including, tailings dikes, dams, waste dumps, and landfills in the coal and oil sands industry. The individual will also be expected to contribute to business development. This is an opportunity to direct your own team. Requirements: Undergraduate or Graduate Degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Geological Engineering 10 year of relevant industry or consulting experience Technical expertise in soil mechanics, slope stability, modeling, field investigations and monitoring Eligible for registration with APEGGA Experience in tailings/ mine engineering, in the coal or oil mining industry is desirable.
