This position will require evaluating and applying engineering techniques, procedures and criteria to assist in engineering design, data analysis, environmental, geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations, general environmental studies, construction engineering and investigations related to all environmental regulatory programs and construction remediation.
As a project manager, you will perform detailed engineering analysis, design and reporting for assigned projects.
Additional responsibilities will include business development, proposals, site investigations, remediation, compliance, technical reports, task leader and field team leader. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and mentoring a group of professional and technical staff assigned on a project basis, and will liaise with clients and stakeholders with the goal of building and maintaining strong working relationships. |
| Job Requirements: |
The successful candidate will hold a degree in environmental, geological, geotechnical or civil engineering with a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience and must be eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGS. A post graduate degree is highly desirable.
Effective interpersonal skills, a strong client-service focus and the ability to work in a team environment are essential. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
The Sr. Civil Engineer must possess the ability to work on multiple projects and meet established deadlines. Experience working in a consulting environment as a senior project manager is desired; formal project management training is a definite asset.
