We are currently seeking a Civil AutoCAD Technologist to join the team in Saskatoon.
|

|
Working within a team of other AutoCAD professionals, the successful candidate will be providing drafting services to Engineers and other technical employees. This position will be of interest to someone possessing strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills. The willingness and proven ability to work in a team atmosphere and the ability to take a flexible approach to work assignments is essential. The incumbent will be highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks while demonstrating significant attention to detail.

Job Duties:
| • |
Preparing civil engineering drawings for mining, transportation and environmental projects using AutoCAD and Civil 3D; |
| • |
Preparing plan and profile, grading and cross-section drawings for roadways/dyke projects; |
| • |
Preparing conceptual presentation drawings and report figures; |
| • |
Preparing borehole logs and geological cross-sections; |
| • |
Coordinating project drawings with project managers and technical staff; |
| • |
Completing earthwork quantity analyses; |
| • |
Assisting in the completion of technical design reports; |
| • |
May be some work with air photos. |

Qualifications:
| • |
Technical or applied science degree or diploma, along with 0-5 years of related experience with AutoCAD 2008 or newer. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered; |

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; |
| • |
Knowledge of Civil 3D or other earthworks software is an asset; |
| • |
Practical experience in surveying is an asset. |
